Tighnari's eyes twinkle a little at that knowledge. if it's nearby, then it shouldn't be an issue. there are no other plans for patrols today outside those sent out, and if they needed him they can always send word for him. so this really is ideal and works in their favor.
though, as soon as he hears that shortened handle of his name, his ears swerve a bit back with a small flush to his cheeks. whenever Cyno does it, it's hard not to react that way, the ends of his tail wagging again as he clears his throat to try and recompose himself. what a silly reaction... embarrassing, hopefully the other doesn't notice. ]
I'll be alright. If I'm capable of sticking to my patrols, a little traveling should be just fine. If I need a momentary break I'll be sure to tell you, Cyno.

[ he doesn't mean to fluster the forest watcher, not even a little bit--- though the meaning of it was very much intended. being affectionate doesn't come naturally to cyno; brutal and efficient honesty is what feels correct to him almost every time. if that means physically intimidating someone, then that's what he does. if it means tearing someone into pieces bit by bit using a calculating and cold logic, then that's what he needs to do.
though it is nice seeing color on tighnari's face... almost the same shade of the flower he took from that oasis. ]
